Our friends, Dave and Deb from Missouri, recently visited and brought along a nice piece of sasafras for Bill. The top photo shows the starting process of a bowl made from that piece. We quickly discovered as Bill began to chisel that sassafras is amazingly fragrant. The bottom photo shows the completed bowl sitting atop of the remaining half of the sassafras billet.
